Tell us about your family: Wife Linda is retired from Prudential Insurance; son Greg is federal law enforcement with Fish and Wildlife service in Ogden, Utah; daughter Ginger is director of state newborn hearing program; daughter Heather teaches 3rd grade at Colona; daughter Wendy is boss for Alside (windows and siding) in Rock Island; daughter Ashley with Google in Chicago. Six grandkids. None of the above lives with us!
What’s an interesting fact about your business most people don’t know? Rapid change in the profession—decidedly different pace and delivery than my father and grandfather had in their medical practices.
When you’re not working, how do you like to do to spend your time? I enjoy electronic gadgets and golf.
Tell us about your dream vacation. When I was physically able, skiing at Vail. Now, travel to places where Linda and I have not yet been.
Why did you join Rotary? Visited at invitation of Dr. Jim Parsons. Continued because of the fellowship with some terrific guys.
What has been your favorite Rotary moment? Playing in the precision marching band.
What advice would you like to give new Rotarians? Best way to become Rotary-involved is to participate (not just contribute monetarily) with fellow Rotarians-particularly in service to our community. Get to know the many good works of Rotary International.
If you could change one thing about your club, what would it be? Make certain that programs make Rotarians the best-informed folks in town.
